where young people create their own future.
When you have confidence in your ability to create meaningful work and relationships, you can forge your future and contribute in your own unique wqy, regardless of what the world around you looks like.
Project Wonder is a process, community and incubator that equips you with the experiences, skills and resources to create your own personal and professional path as a social entrepreneur.
What is a social entrepreneur?
Project Wonder's definition of a "social entrepreneur" is someone who can:
- recognize their unique perspective and place in the world
- turn their curiosity into tangible, innovative actions
- create sustainable value for their lives and community
- nurture relationships as the core of their future
We believe that, with the right support, any young person can create a personal path and future for themselves in this way— by recognizing their own life as an abundant creative resource and their community as a vital lab.
But our current education system isn't equipped to support this.
Why does it matter?
As the world evolves, so does the way we learn and work. This time of rapidly changing opportunities and challenges bring different demands to adapt and think creatively. Traditional school environments and "teaching to a test" aren't built to develop these critical thinking and creative skills—and often actually interfere or conflict with them.
Young people need an understandable, practical process to explore possibilities, build resilience and gain confidence to discover and build lives of impact, purpose and confidence.
We see this as the future of learning and work.
